Philemon 1:6: “I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.”

One of the amazing things about Go2020 is that we are partnering with people all over the world to share our faith for the sake of Christ. There are thousands and thousands of churches who are partnering this month to encourage and activate ordinary believers to share the extraordinary news of Jesus! #LetsGo!

In this verse, Paul encouraged his friend Philemon. He wanted Philemon to know as they partnered in making Jesus known, Philemon’s understanding of all the good things he had in Christ would grow. Isn’t that incredible? We are doing that this month: partnering with Christians all over the world to proclaim the Good News of Jesus to grow in our knowledge of God!

Paul’s promise is so encouraging to us today. It tells us that as we partner together around the world, proclaiming Christ, our faith is strengthened. We will get to know Jesus with deeper understanding. Then, as our understanding of God increases, our desire to share Christ with others increases too! Let us spur one another on to keep sharing Jesus with not-yet believers. It will strengthen our understanding so that we can share Jesus even more in the future! Let’s do it together. One Church sharing One Message with One World, all for the glory of King Jesus!
